Orlivas — Health & Wellness Disclaimer

Please read this carefully. It forms part of the Orlivas Terms of Service and applies to
everything the Service shows or generates, including reminders, alerts, Visual Wellness
scores, AI Insights and AI Assistant answers.
1. Orlivas is not a healthcare provider
Orlivas is a personal organization and reminder tool for family caregiving. It is
not a doctor, nurse, pharmacist or other healthcare professional, and it is **not a
medical device. Using Orlivas does not** create a doctor–patient or any other
professional care relationship between you and Orlivas.
2. No medical advice, diagnosis or treatment
Nothing in Orlivas is medical, nursing, pharmacological, nutritional or other
professional advice, and nothing is a diagnosis, treatment or prescription. Information
and any AI/wellness output are general and non-diagnostic. Always seek the advice of
a qualified healthcare professional for any question about a medical condition,
medication or treatment.
3. Do not change treatment based on the app
Do not start, stop, delay or change any medication, dose, therapy or treatment based
on Orlivas. Dose timelines, reminders, scores and summaries are conveniences to help you
stay organized — they are not clinical instructions. Follow your healthcare
professional's guidance and the instructions on the actual product/label.
4. Reminders and notifications may be delayed or fail
Reminders and alerts are best-effort and depend on your device and third-party
systems. They can be delayed, duplicated, silenced or fail to deliver because of
device settings, battery optimizations, connectivity, operating-system limits, or push
provider (FCM/APNs) outages. **Do not rely on Orlivas as the sole or primary means of
administering critical medication.** Keep an independent safeguard for anything critical.
5. Not for emergencies
Orlivas is not for emergencies and does not contact emergency services. If you or a
family member may be experiencing a medical emergency, **call your local emergency
number** or seek immediate professional help.
6. Wellness photos and appearance scores
The Visual Wellness feature produces appearance-based signals from a photo (for
example, how rested a face looks). These are not a medical assessment, screening or
diagnosis, do not detect any disease or condition, and must not be used to make health
decisions.
7. AI-generated content
Optional AI features (Insights, Assistant, Visual Wellness narratives) generate
non-diagnostic summaries from your family's logged data. AI output **may be
inaccurate, incomplete or out of date**, and must not be relied upon for medical,
safety, financial or legal decisions. See the AI Transparency Notice. By default,
these features run on Orlivas' own servers; if an external AI provider is enabled for
health data, we will ask for your separate, explicit consent first.
8. Authority and consent to manage others' data
Orlivas lets you record health information for other people (family members, including
managed profiles). You must only do so if you have the **authority and, where
required, the consent** to manage that person's health information:
- For another adult, do not enter their health data without their permission.
- For a child or dependent, you must hold the necessary **parental or legal-guardian
authority. See the Children & Dependent Data Notice and Parent/Guardian
Notice**.
You are responsible for informing the people you manage (when they can understand) and
for honoring their wishes about their data.
9. Your responsibility
You are responsible for the decisions you make and the data you enter. Verify important
information (such as medications and doses) against the physical product, the label and
your healthcare professional's instructions. Data can be entered incorrectly, be
incomplete, or become out of date.
10. Limits
All disclaimers and limitations apply **to the maximum extent permitted by applicable
law and do not** exclude or limit any liability or consumer/health right that cannot
be excluded or limited by law (including for death or personal injury caused by
negligence, or non-waivable statutory guarantees).
