Orlivas — Cookie Policy
Version 1.0.0 · Effective 2026-07-11 · Last updated 2026-07-11
This policy explains how cookies and similar technologies are used on the Orlivas
website (orlivas.com) and the Orlivas management console. The Orlivas mobile
apps do not use browser cookies; they store sign-in tokens and settings securely on your
device (see §4).
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a site stores in your browser. Similar technologies include
localStorage and sessionStorage. They can be strictly necessary (needed for the
site to work) or optional (used with your consent).
2. Cookies we use
| Category | Purpose | Examples | Consent |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Security, load balancing, session/sign-in for the management console, remembering your language and cookie choice | session/auth token, locale, cookie-consent | Not required |
| Preferences | Remember non-essential choices (e.g. theme) | theme | Where required |
| Analytics | Understand website/console usage | first-party usage counters, if enabled | Opt-in where required |
Orlivas does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and does not
embed third-party ad or social-tracking pixels.
3. Managing cookies
- Where consent is required, a banner lets you accept or reject optional cookies and
change your choice later.
- You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; strictly necessary
cookies cannot be switched off without breaking core functionality.
4. Mobile app storage (not cookies)
The mobile app uses on-device secure storage for your authentication tokens and local
preferences, and buffers first-party, non-health usage events (which you can turn off
in Settings → Privacy → Analytics). It does not use browser cookies or third-party
advertising/analytics SDKs.
5. Changes
We will update this policy if our use of cookies changes, and update the date above.
