Orlivas — Children & Dependent Data Notice

Version 1.0.0 · Effective 2026-07-11 · Last updated 2026-07-11

Orlivas is designed for caregivers to manage the health of their family — which often

includes children, elderly parents and dependents. This notice explains how their

data is handled and the responsibilities of the caregiver who manages it.

1. Children and dependents are "managed profiles"

Children and dependents do not hold their own Orlivas account. They appear only as

managed profiles inside a family, created and controlled by the caregivers. Account

holders must be 16 or older.

2. Caregiver authority is required

Before you add a child or dependent as a managed profile, or enter health data about

them, you must hold the necessary authority — parental responsibility, legal

guardianship, a power of attorney, or another lawful basis to manage that person's health

information. By adding them, you confirm you have that authority. See the

Parent/Guardian Notice.

3. What data is stored about a managed profile

The same health categories as for any family member: profile details (name, relationship,

optional date of birth, health flags, dietary preferences), medications and dose logs,

vitals, hydration, mood/sleep/wellness, symptoms, appointments, documents, journals and

wellness photos. All of it is special-category health data and is treated as

sensitive.

4. How it is used and protected

  • Managed-profile data is used only to provide the caregiving features to the family,

under the same protections as all health data (server-side role-based access,

encryption in transit, no advertising use, no sale). See the Privacy Policy.

  • It is visible to the family's caregivers according to their roles.
  • Optional AI features follow the same opt-in / default-off rule for any external AI

processing (see the AI Transparency Notice).

5. Minimize and respect the person

  • Enter only what is needed for care.
  • When the child or dependent is able to understand, tell them their health information

is organized in Orlivas, and respect their wishes.

  • As a child matures or a dependent's situation changes, review whether continued

management remains appropriate and lawful.

6. Deleting a managed profile's data

  • A caregiver with the right role can delete individual records or the whole managed

profile in the app at any time.

  • If the family is dissolved (the last caregiver closes their account), **all managed

profiles and their data are permanently erased** with the family — see the Account &

Data Deletion page.

7. Requests from or about a managed person

If a person whose data you manage (or their representative) asks to access, correct or

delete their information, contact privacy@orlivas.com. We will work with the family's

caregivers to honor valid requests consistent with applicable law and the safety of the

individual.
